I finally got around to sending out the final email to all our users announcing we will be closing down SambaJAM on October 8th. It doesn’t feel as sad today, the saddest day was when our last paying customer did their final migration off SambaJAM to a new system a few days ago, which is…

As a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology I applied this year to become a Chartered Engineer (which allows me to put CEng at the end of my name). To pass I had to do a huge application form, followed by an interview, in which we spent considerable time discussing my new start-up…
Yesterday I went to a free training workshop on “Market Research & Marketing”by KIS Training. I have to say it was excellent, lasted the whole day, which is amazing considering it was completely free! They hold the workshop once a month, along with two other free sessions on writing a business plan and how to…

When I found this cartoon many years ago while bored in St. Charles training (at http://www.bigtimeconsulting.com) I kept it on my desktop for the day I would quit Accenture. Now after 3.5 years, today is my last day in Accenture, and to be honest I put the cartoon up not because I feel this was…
For my work with Accenture Development Partnerships, I did a presentation to my group in the UK to show them life out in Bangkok, where I’ve been working for the past 7 months. The presentation went great, but unfortunately they ran out of time to show the video, so I’ve posted it up on YouTube…
